Roles and Responsibilities

As an Account manager, you will manage individual sales across identified accounts and build relationships to ensure continued business. Key deliverable include :

  • Maximizing sales revenues and achieving given sales & collection targets.
  • Make proposals, agreements.
  • Promoting and selling advertising space on Radio & Digital platforms
  • Organizing on-ground activation for clients brand promotions.
  • Negotiating on rates and deliverables of a campaign with the buyers and managers and closing deals.
  • Interacting with clients:

1. Creating briefs according to client needs.

2. Pitching of properties.

3. Ensuring timely delivery of briefs.

  • Coordinating and integrating with the Programming, Creative and Digital Marketing team.
  • Focus on New Business Development, Pure Money, Client Led Activations (CLA), Advertiser Funded Programs (AFP)
  • Drive Digital Sales:
  • Understanding of Digital/Social Media Sales & Pricing
  • Understanding basic formats of Digital Sales : Display, Video (Pre Roll, Mid Roll, Native, Contextual)
  • Digital sales for Podcast, FabPlay, FabMarket
  • Effective monetization of all social/digital platforms

Desired Candidate Profile

You must be an MBA with 2-5 years of experience in sales and Account Management, including a significant stint in the Radio/Print media industry. Experience in handling Direct sales with close client relationships is essential. Direct experience in Digital Media sales would be a definite advantage. This is an individual contributor role.
