Designation: Accounting Associate
Shift Hours: 2PM - 11 PM IST
Working Model: We are currently working from home taking all COVID precautions. For candidates in Delhi/NCR, a person should be comfortable to maintain a residence within 40 KM from the work location (Sector 62, Noida)
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Business processes and Accounts payable related data-entry involving
a. Accurate logging of purchase details into the accounting system.
b. Attaching supporting documentation with transactions
2. Prepare and deliver month-end financial statements
3. Prepare and process payroll and Journal entries
4. Prepare Month-end Journal entries for prepaid accruals and reclasses
5. Prepare Bank and SL to GL reconciliation
6. Check end to end AP cycle and make necessary payments to vendors as to when required
7. Review and maintain financial records, datasheets, and invoices
8. Process and prepare Sales Tax return for Canadian clients
9. Periodic analysis of General ledger accounts and various monthly, quarterly and fiscal financial reporting
10. Work closely with the Canada team on the assigned tasks and issue resolution
Educational Qualifications :
College degree in accounting (B.Com, M.Com) or MBA Finance
Required Skills:
1. Between 1-3 years of experience in a related position with strong accounting knowledge
2. 0.5 - 1 years of experience in R2R (Record to Report) area
3. Proficiency in any Financial Accounting tool
4. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
5. Excellent computer skills with experience in MS Office Suite and Google Documents
6. Demonstrated ability to follow processes with the discipline to achieve, efficiency and accuracy
Preferred Skills: • Proficiency with tools like Quickbooks Online, Xero, Expensify and Receipt Bank
