Job Title:Adjunct FacultyPhysical Location:Salem Campus - Salem, OHSalary:Basic Function:Opportunity for adjunct position for Early Childhood Education at the Kent State Salem Campus.Additional Basic Function – if applicable:Examples of Duties:Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:Additional Examples of Duties – if applicable:Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in education; Early Childhood preferred
  • 4 years’ experience teaching Science and/or Social Studies in grades 4-6
  • Pre-K to 8 teaching licensure is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:
  • Prior experience teaching at the University level is preferred
Assessments:Asterisk (*) indicates knowledge, skills, abilities which require assessmentsWorking Conditions / Physical Requirements:Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others.
