Roles and Responsibilities:

Working closely with our project managers, business analysts, QA teams and solution architects to own and deliver the high quality and high performing technical solution on time and on budget to our clients
Working with the Solution Architect, define highly detailed specifications for the technical solution
Setup the project development environment at the commencement of the project
Enforce development best practices within the team
Writing high-quality, tested, well-documented code
Code reviews with the development team
Supervise, mentor and coach developers
Work independently with the client technical lead
Prepare and execute demos and training sessions on the technical solution
Write technical documentation for the delivered solution
Provide effort estimates on work packages
Production deployments
Advise on the technical solution, while owning the implementation
Performs role of subject matter expert for AEM
Regular status reporting, issues management, and risk management for the project.

Required Skills:

Strong development experience with Java/J2EE and AEM (OnPremise and Cloud).
Very good knowledge with standard software frameworks (Spring)
Experience with AEM technologies (Apache Sling, Sling models, HTL/Sightly, JCR API, OSGi & DAM)
Knowledge in the areas of SQL or Apache Jackrabbit Oak, Web Services (SOA), XML, XSL, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX
Expertise in software architecture and technical design
Ability to quickly understand business and technical context in diverse customer environments.
Experience designing and building business and data layers and functional libraries
Experience of working in Agile environment with Jira & Confluence & Bitbucket as tools.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with an ability to collaborate in a multi-time zone environment.
Ability to work within a team performing pull requests, code review, and helping across tasks.
