Responsibilities:

-Delivering engaging and comprehensive lectures on human anatomy to BDS students, utilising various teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.

-Creating and designing course materials, syllabi, and assessments that align with the curriculum’s learning objectives.

-Demonstrating a strong understanding of anatomical concepts and their clinical applications, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.

-Organising and leading practical lab sessions, supervising dissections, and guiding students in hands-on learning experiences.

-Providing one-on-one academic support and mentorship to students, addressing their queries and concerns, and facilitating a positive learning environment.

-Collaborating with fellow faculty members to continuously enhance the curriculum, integrating new advancements and research findings into the teaching approach.

-Participating in faculty meetings, departmental discussions, and professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and industry trends.

-Engaging in research activities related to anatomy, contributing to academic publications and presentations, and encouraging students to pursue research initiatives.

-Participating in college events, workshops, and seminars that contribute to the holistic growth of students and the institution.

Requirements:

-A Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Anatomy or a related field from a recognized institution.

-Prior teaching experience, preferably in a dental or medical education setting.

-Strong command of anatomical concepts and their clinical applications.

-Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire students.

-Proficiency in using technology and multimedia tools to enhance teaching.

-Dedication to student success, academic excellence, and continuous improvement.

-Research experience and a willingness to contribute to academic publications.

-Flexibility to adapt to changing educational trends and methodologies.
