Job PurposeTo source material as per approved specifications within approved budget and as per project requirements to control the overall Cost of constructionPrincipal Accountabilities
  • Deep knowledge of all construction material on quality, make, brand and cost.
  • Business relationship / connection with all suppliers / vendors.
  • Coordination with Project team on future requirements and work on collaboration of pan India requirements.
  • Working on advance procurement schedules.
  • Work / deal on long terms rate contract.
  • Advance actions related to material sourcing to control the COC.
  • Mis reports (word, xls & PPT) for Sr. Management.
  • Review of Cost Comparison Statements, Rate Negotiation with ref to Budget along with techno Commercial Terms & get approval from Superior for final approval.
  • Regular follow up with Vendors for Timely delivery of Critical material.
  • Regularly check the stocks with Store Dept to avoid Stock out situations. ( store audit / review along with store person )
  • Handling the yearly Vendor Evaluation process.
  • development on alternate products and technology without compromising on quality parameters. (Alternative sources & materials to save the cost)
