JOB DESCRIPTION:

Civil Lead – Associate Director ( Civil ) – Bharuch

Education: B.Tech – Civil

Experience: 15-18 Yrs

Reporting to: Vice President - Projects

• Monitor, lead, and manage, directly or indirectly through group of project Engineers, the execution of all capital projects to assure timely, safe, and cost effective project execution. Implement, teach, and refine a uniform and effective system for project execution
• Developing project baselines schedule , monitoring & controlling projects by preparing & sending daily progress report (DPR) to higher management including project managers with respect to daily progress of Project works , resource deployment, time over-runs and quality compliances against given target to ensure satisfactory execution of projects
• Formulating operating budgets and managing operations for executing civil projects within cost as per norms.
• Inspecting field sites to observe and evaluate condition and operability of facilities and structures, and to collect field survey data and measurements.
• Formulating & implementing stringent systems & quality plans / manuals to ensure high quality standards during all stages of project
• Liaising with architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors & external agencies for determining technical specifications.
• Achieving stringent cost targets set by the management without compromising on quality & time
• Creating BOQ including cost estimates for management approval & adopting budget controlling method during the course of project execution .
• Supervising the projects with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, time over-runs to ensure timely completion of projects
• Monitoring on-site activities and ensuring completion of project within the time & cost parameters effective resource utilization to maximize the output.
• Interfacing with contractors with regard to techno-commercial negotiations
• Carrying - out meetings with contractors, other discipline & consultants on contractual matters regarding progress of works, claim situations & other project related issues
• Imparting continuous on job trainings for accomplishing greater operational effectiveness and efficiency
• Verify and Checking the bills of contractors as per SOP
• Coordinate for quality/Safety check/audits during construction.
