Job Responsibilities
  • Provide layout design of test structure sets while working closely with scribe design and CAD engineers.
  • Performing layout verification like LVS/DRC/DFM, etc. support, quality check and provide accurate and timely documentation to ensure creation of a parametric workbook documentation.
  • Apply expert understanding and usage of post layout verification tools, through DRC and DFM verifications on multiple technology critical modules.
  • Own and support multiple projects in parallel through the Tapeout flow.
  • Support development needs for advanced memory solutions, including beyond-1z DRAM and cutting-edge non-Volatile memory chips.
  • Effectively interacts and communicates with internal/external customers to understand the needs and deliver the modules
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff.
  • Work closely with Micron’s global teams in US, Japan, leverage vast resources available throughout Micron’s global sites to contribute to the success of Micron’s Technology Development projects
Requirement
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with all aspects of layout, schematics, netlist extraction, and post layout verification
  • Have expert knowledge and application of CAD tools, specifically for layout design and automation. Demonstrated capability to create scripts to improve efficiency and workflow.
  • Deep understanding of fab process knowledge in at least one technology such as DRAM, NAND, NOR, Logic, etc.
  • Experience with electrical characterization is a differentiator
  • Experience with custom analog Design and layout for memory or an OEM is a plus
  • Willing to take late night phone calls with global team and Willing to work on weekend based on project needs.
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • 8 or more years of experience in related field
