Roles and Responsibilities :

Operation and Maintenance :

• Responsible for managing overall campus electrical with all the resources aligned to support Critical Equipment for plant operations 24 x 7.
• Control the operation and provide technical expertise to maintain these systems.
• Escalate Major and Critical equipment /system failures to the respective management that might lead to a lot/product reject or a destruction decision.
• Guide to prepare Annual PM Plan to team.
• Guide the team for Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Define norms for usage of spares and consumables and monitor monthly for cost optimization Review equipment performance monthly as per defined data and parameters.
• Perform technology upgrades for older machines, systems to comply with the newer regulations, audit findings, and GMPs and Lead engineering and technical resources in support of required Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for new manufacturing equipment or plant utilities for the facility.
• R&D Lab O&M Team Training and PM, BM and routine operation related activity perform.
• R&D Lab installed all electrical system and HVAC System, Gas detection system, Fire Alarm System, DG Set and change over system mange as per user requirement.

Regulatory, Compliance and Statutory Inspection

• Liaison with government bodies for electricity Board, etc. to ensure statutory compliance
• Demonstrate department performance in substantial compliance during regulatory inspections and internal/external audits.
• GMP Compliance.

QMS :

• Initiate, investigate, show CAPA effectiveness, and bring to closure QMS Records and CAPA actions (as applicable) associated with Plant electrical function.
• Assist QA function in tracking and reporting QMS incidents associated with department operations.

People Management :

• Hold regular counselling sessions with staff to determine issues and resolve and daily team meeting with department for workload distribution in line.
• Impart training and On-the-Job mentoring for new and existing employees in various job tasks.
