Work Location: Abu Dahbi, UAEProjects: Hail & Ghasha and Hamriyah SharjahMissionEnsure the proper functioning of the electrical parts of machinery or equipment present in the job site, plants and maintenance bases, in compliance with superior instructions and following the appropriate manuals supplied by the manufacturers ensuring the respect of Quality and HSE procedures and practices.Tasks
  • Perform ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the equipment and devices and provide for preventive routine and non routine maintenance of all the equipment present in the areas and/or job sites assigned, in accordance with superior instructions received.
  • Identify electrical malfunction and proceeding promptly with the appropriate repairs
  • Ensure proper use and management of all electrical repairs, tools and resting equipment
  • Interpreting the manuals and diagrams of electrical installations
  • Be well informed about all the safety procedures issued by Saipem and the operator, apply them and promote their implementation.
  • Use compulsory protective equipment and be safety minded during the day to day work
  • Attend all safety meetings
  • Carry out duties according to the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan as needed
  • Promptly report any safety hazard, accident, near-miss and non conformance through proper channels
  • Organize tools and ensure good housekeeping in the working area
  • Propose spare parts to be purchased.
Requirements
  • Ability to read schematic diagrams, calibrate cranes LMI and Manlifts
  • Ability to repair starter motors, alternators and equipment wiring
  • Good level of English
