Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert with a minimum of 8 years of expertise in a specific domain. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing deep insights, guidance, and leadership within their subject area, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Domain Expertise:

  • Serve as a recognized expert in the designated field, possessing in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to the domain.

Consultation And Advisory:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to internal teams, stakeholders, and clients on matters related to the subject area.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex challenges and provide strategic insights.

Training And Development:

  • Develop and deliver training sessions to educate team members on domain-specific topics.
  • Mentor and coach junior professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Research And Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis within the subject area, producing reports and recommendations.
  • Stay informed about market dynamics, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the domain.

Thought Leadership:

  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, such as whitepapers, articles, and conference presentations.
  • Represent the organization as a thought leader in industry forums and events.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with product development teams to align solutions with industry trends and customer needs.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop collateral that highlights domain expertise.

Problem Solving:

  • Analyse complex problems within the domain and propose innovative and practical solutions.
  • Act as a go-to resource for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the subject area.

Client Interaction:

  • Engage with clients to understand their specific challenges and requirements.
  • Provide expert insights during client meetings and contribute to the development of tailored solutions.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in the specified domain.
  • Proven track record of serving in a subject matter expert role.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices within the subject area.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

  • Manage support operations and improvements journey for HUL customers

Integration With Different Streams, Globalteams And External Partners:

  • Engagement with product partners & service providers to bring outside-in view
  • Vendor management across various vendors to manage talents and technologies at the best cost

Governance & People:

  • Manage a very large team of internal and external team members; ensure well-being, development & motivation, while ensuring delivery of CRs and BAU operations of the assigned areas
  • Manage the IT budget including adherence to forecast, optimization & compliance
  • Ensure proper governance structure is followed across all stakeholders

Key Requirements:

  • Proficiency in aspects of product management which help translate business priorities into product innovations.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management across functions including senior leaders
  • Ability to handle E2E project journey including business value delivery
  • Strong business acumen to arrive at relevant solutions
  • Ability to manage delivery through partners
  • People Management skill for managing large teams as well as stakeholders
  • Execution excellence and application support understanding
  • Project Management, understanding of Devops & Agile
  • Understanding of platforms & technologies used in retail ecosystem.
