We are looking for a Business Analyst in Trail Data Management Global Development (GD) unit based out of Global Business Service (GBS), Bangalore, India. The position

As a Business Analyst, you develop dashboard in CPR utilising the data lake and Power BI in alignment with the request and business rule, you ensure coordination with dashboard requestor and project owner in developing the dashboards in alignment with Business rules, you collaborate with other analysts in TBS and CDD BA team to ensure timely deliverable, you collaborate with consultants and data steward as needed.


You ensure best practice design is used utilising the data lake (data & business rules) and Power BI (visualisation), you ensure seamless data integration across dashboards, you act as point of contact for queries associated with challenges in data visualization. You do error free programming to ensure data connection from source to visualisation front. You provide support to other team members and across the globe with respect to adhoc analyses needed.


You should be curious in nature to explore continuously for current trends in data visuali-sation, digitalization/automation, internally and externally. You should have cross cultural understanding and experience working with global teams/stakeholders and diverse professional groups. You should have willingness to explore and learn beyond the comfort zone and keep abreast with latest trends in technology.

You should possess good stakeholder management skills and internal and external networking abilities. You should have the ability to network and partner, learn and collaborate. You should have good communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in spoken and written English. You should have documented drive on delivering excellent results. You should be self-motivated, independent, proactive and pragmatic in driving the projects. You should have good project management skills. You should show direction and live up to NN Way.


Qualifications

You need to have the below knowledge and skills.

Bachelor’s degree in business/IT or other relevant areas in technology required as a minimum

Additional degree/certifications related to advanced skills/technology will be added advantage

Relevant experience may be substituted for degree, when appropriate

  • 7 yrs of proven experience, especially of driving data visualisation related projects in Power BI

> 5 years’ experience in designing and building Power BI applications

Good understanding of data architecture and data modelling solutions

Strong understanding and technical and hands-on experience in various tools related to data visualisation, software and programming and applications as below:

High level Excel

Python, SQL

SAP BW/BO/BI

High level Qlik understanding will be an advantage

Good understanding of AI, ML concepts and good sense of various diagnostic, descriptive and predictive analyses

Familiar and experienced in various Clinical systems used in pharma

industry will be an advantage

An understanding of pharma value chain, processes and pharmaceutical business model will be an advantage


About the department

The data management department was established in Bangalore, India in the month of September 2007 and has significantly grown from 10 members to a strong team of over 119 Clinical Data Management professionals. It is a young, enthusiastic and dynamic team with varied skillsets and professionals from diverse backgrounds such as pharmacy, life-sciences, physiotherapy, computer/information sciences and business administration. The key objective of the department is to ensure high quality data delivery to the stakeholders. The involvement of various groups in data management is significant in key stages of trial setup, conduct and closeout.
