The ideal candidate would deeply understand AVANA’s small business lending platform, LendThrive, contribute significantly through business analysis and product testing to ensure that LendThrive technology product is topnotch. The opportunity becomes an integral part of creating impactful strides for customer communities. The individual accomplishes significantly by collaborating with business and technology teams, documenting business requirements, contributing to creating processes and contributing to developing LendThrive technology platform.   • Responsibilities and Targeted Accomplishments

Avana Capital is looking for a talented and dynamic Business Analyst combined with QA technical skills to join the Product Engineering and Technology team. You will have a diverse set of responsibilities primarily focused on, supporting the delivery of best-in-class technology platforms, leading system testing strategy, supporting the long and short-term planning and execution of our product platforms, and supporting key IT program initiatives related to product innovation. This role requires strong business acumen, expert communication skills, and a proven ability to realize, clearly communicate a perspective, and exercise influence to drive action in a cross-functional environment.


  • Perform deep technical analysis, understand business requirements and gap analysis to change business needs into significant IT products
  • Collaborate cross‐functionally to ensure consistent reporting standards and processes and support project management team to keep projects on track and moving toward to achieve business goals
  • Proactively identify trends, development risks, and opportunities within the business
  • Responsible for documenting the functional requirement specifications and business requirement document along with the USE CASES for all the products
  • Responsible for documenting all the Change Requests and Enhancements of any product in the company
  • Responsible for creating test case specifications and test scenarios by working closely with the Product Managers and IT Delivery Manager; and own thorough end to end testing (Integration Testing and UAT) of the products along with measures to automate tests
  • Document processes, best practices, and requirements to support our deliverables and initiatives, and develop practice of best practices to effectively solve business problems
  • Assist in developing and delivering presentations / demos to engage with key stakeholders to drive business awareness and effective discussions
  • Assess risks and impacts of business requirements and process changes across platforms and make change management recommendations
  • Act as a bridge between Business and Technical teams

  • Core Values & Qualifications
  • BE/BTech in Information Systems / Engineering or Masters in Computer Applications or relevant education from a reputed institution with minimum 5 years of business analysis along with testing experience
  • Experience with Jira or other project management tools would be a significant plus
  • Experience in Banking/Non-Banking Financial Services organization would be a significant plus
  • Strong collaboration and facilitation skills to uncover and solve business problems and develop recommendations
  • Excellent verbal, written, & presentation skills with the ability to design and develop innovative and compelling content
  • Excellent organizational skills and must be able to work independently with limited guidance
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize a high-volume workload while handling details accurately, in a timely manner, and under pressure
  • Strong and highly effective communication skills in both written and verbal and the ability to transform business requirements into actionable plans
  • Extremely Pro-active, Detail Oriented, Results-focused, and Strong analytical skills
