Business Development Executive’s role concentrates on achieving targets through best in class execution and service in Food Service outlets (Sales in HoReCa channel)

Roles and Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Sales & Business Development

· Distributor handling: Handling the current set of distributors/Sub Distributors and managing their primary and secondary sales volumes. The position will be responsible for handling FS distribution.

· Handling the existing set of client consisting for hotels, restaurants, cafés etc. category and would also be responsible to increase the customer base based on the geography allotted to her/him for working.

· The BDE will also be responsible for client wise tracking of secondary sales and reporting secondary sales in the company format. Would be handling major of local clients. Also will be responsible for carrying out the activities with the client listing the new product.

· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets

· Generate and qualify leads through prospecting, networking, and attending industry events, Conduct needs assessments and develop solutions that meet the specific needs of Horeca customers

· Negotiate and close sales deals, Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the Horeca industry

· Provide excellent customer service, Monitor and report on sales performance, Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments

· The BDE will be responsible for managing secondary sales claims for the set of given distributors along with other commercial hygiene.

· Following up new business opportunities, Opening up of distributors and expansion of customer base, New area Expansion

· Add new customers for food service portfolio, Lead a team of Promoters & Supervisors to build the FS business.

· Distributor management and development. Order Placement, NCC, Claims, Coordinating for Sampling and trade promotion activities

Knowledge/Experience - To effectively perform in this job the position holder must have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG Sales
  • Relevant Experience in HORECA
  • Geographical knowledge
