The Company is based out of Gurugram and currently operates in Cloud Kitchen space and soon intends to foray into full scale restaurant & food court outlet.

Job summary

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled, well-mannered, and experienced Chef to take the helm of our kitchen team, specializing in Chinese and Continental cuisine. The ideal candidate will possess the determination to drive culinary excellence and elevate our dining experience to new heights.

Responsibilities

1. Menu Development: Develop, implement, and maintain Chinese and Continental menus, ensuring the highest quality food and impeccable presentation.

2. Kitchen Oversight:Take charge of kitchen operations, including staff training, and uphold strict health and hygiene standards.

3. Cost Management: Be accountable for controlling food costs, kitchen supplies, energy expenses, and kitchen utensils.

4. Compliance and Relationships: Collaborate closely with the management team to ensure adherence to legal and safety requirements, while fostering positive vendor and supplier relationships that uphold our brand.

5. Café & Cloud Kitchen Development: Contribute to the creation and development of new Café and Cloud Kitchen concepts.

6. SOP Adherence: Maintain rigorous adherence to standard operating procedures to guarantee consistency and quality.

7. Timely Food Delivery: Ensure all orders are delivered promptly.

8. Kitchen Readiness: Keep the kitchen fully prepared and organized at all times.

9. Adaptability: Fulfill any reasonable duties assigned by the department head as necessary.

10. Wastage Control and Stock Management:Monitor and control food wastage and perform regular stock takes.

Required Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

· Professional education in culinary or hospitality (degree or diploma).

· 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Café’s, Restaurants, Cloud Kitchens, or Hotels.

Skills Required

· Positive attitude and leadership skills.

· Proficiency in food safety procedures.

· Knowledge of current food trends.

· Computer literacy for inventory and menu management.

· Exceptional presentation and flavor skills.

· Expertise in Chinese cuisine with a natural passion for the subject.

· Competence in Chinese food preparation.

· Effective kitchen management abilities.
