Position Title

Chief Manager - Electrical (Solar)

Position Summary

Responsible of Overall electrical work execution of Solar project in timely manner with required standard of Safety and quality at site.

Position Demands

• BE with minimum 10 years of experience and/or Diploma with minimum 15 Years of experience
• Proven track record in site construction management – 10+ years
• Ability to work with other stakeholders in ensuring the cross functional support is extended to the projects

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Responsible of Project construction to Achieve contractual schedule

• Good hands-on experience of Pooling substation, GSS, SCADA, ICR electrical, AC & DC cabling, String and Central Invertors, Testing & Commissioning of the solar plant etc.

• Maintain high and required standard of safety at site.

• Ensure achievement of highest quality levels on site.

• Maintain and manage various stakeholder to ensure timely delivery of project.

• Team management and mentoring on site as applicable.

• Conduct Site compliance audits and checks.

• Responsible for overall management of Solar project site.

• Daily / Weekly / Monthly project status reporting as applicable

Serentica plans to install ~1500 MW of solar & wind power across multiple sites in the states of the Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra where the company has already acquired connectivity approvals. A large part of this capacity will be used to deliver close to 600MW of round-the-clock clean energy to various entities of the Vedanta Group. The company will focus on providing direct green energy solutions to commercial and industrial customers.

Serentica is committed to reversing climate change by decarbonizing energy-intensive industries such as Steel, Cement, Aluminium and Zinc. Industries account for over 30% of total carbon emissions. In the medium-term, Serentica aims to install 5000MW of carbon-free generation capacity coupled with different storage technologies. Eventually, it aims to supply over 15 billion units of clean energy annually and displace 20 million tonnes of CO2 emissions.
