Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive management and to design and develop the best in class procurement in organisation and team
  • Establish sourcing strategies that align to our strategic and operating plans with a focus on reducing direct and indirect spend
  • Drive materials savings in operations via leverage of global supplier relationships
  • Provide recommendations to executive staff on best practices in supply and procurement organizations
  • Develop a vendor management strategy to reduce and consolidate global vendors
  • Provide leadership to global supply and procurement resources within the direct team and across matrixed business relationships
  • Develop, communicate and execute against consistent global procurement strategies and practices
  • Partner with business leaders, across all functions and regions, to execute capital purchases that deliver cost savings
  • Partner with executive leadership on enterprise contingent worker and consulting spend plans
  • Develop a systems roadmap that automates key business processes
  • Define and execute a Procurement strategy that delivers on established financial targets ensuring monetisation of sourcing productivity
  • Coordinate with all business segments shared services and in order to obtain the best outcomes across DFS
  • Articulate and execute a Procurement roadmap that builds the capabilities needed for long-term growth and sustainability including launch of a comprehensive preferred vendor program
  • Responsible for implementing best in class end-to-end source to pay process improvements working across all key constituents
  • Recruit, staff and develop a high-performing and motivated strategic procurement team responsible for interfacing with business and supplier partners
  • Design a Procurement organization that has the structure, process, technology, talent practices, metrics and incentive structures needed to deliver the plan and build for the future
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment and coordination via clearly articulated governance processes including definition of roles and responsibilities, decision rights and communication and coordination mechanisms
  • Establish balanced scorecard metrics (cost, quality, service, etc.) that drive accountability for Total Operating Cost
  • Ensure our suppliers are aligned with our low cost approach and held accountable for their performance


Qualification and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
  • Masters in Business Administration (Operations)
