Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

• Responsible to convert all the thermal calculations into manufacturing drawings, Bill of materials for turbine components like flow path components, casing components etc. in order to meet the design requirements in line with the customer / quality specifications.
• Responsible for special design structure of TG train supports including manufacturing drawings & Bill of materials.
• Reconstruction of the turbine components by special solutions during Turbine revamp scope.
• Translate site measurement / reverse engineering data into manufacturing drawings so that flange to flange matching in foot-print replacement is achieved.
• Need to do construction and feasibility check & provide solution during order acquisition phase.
• Work as a team member for maintaining the design process of engineer groups for timely execution and co-ordination with internal and external customer.
• Provide support to manufacturing, shop assembly, quality, site for resolving critical technical issue by detailed study & root cause analysis.
• Ensure and maintain the quality of documentation & drawings, ensure adequacy of specifications in order to meet the quality / construction requirements of design.
• Ensure designed product/components in order to meet the statutory requirements.
• Driving standardization for reduction of engineering cycle time as well as interchangeability

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds

• BE / B-Tech (mechanical) or ME/ M-Tech from reputed institute.
• Advanced knowledge of steam turbine components & basis knowledge of TG steam cycle
• Minimum 8 years of hands on experience in designing turbine components
• Having good command on 3D modelling software like Nx -Siemens PLM. PTC Creo.
• Know-how of national and international standard.
