Job Description & Summary

  • Experience architecting large distributed solutions

  • Ability to understand and translate customer requirements into technical requirements

  • Experience designing data queries against data in a CDP environment using tools such as Apache Hive, Apache Druid, Apache Phoenix or others

  • Experience building data pipelines with NiFi

  • Experience with Healthcare domain and understanding of GxP regulations on Data Movements in Clinical Life Cycle

  • Strong understanding of various enterprise security solutions such as LDAP and/or Kerberos

  • Significant previous work writing to network-based APIs, preferably REST/JSON or XML/SOAP

  • Solid background in Database administration and design, along with Data Modeling with star schema, slowing changing dimensions, and/or data capture.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing big data and Analytics use-cases, understanding of standard design patterns commonly used in CDP-based deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with PWC technical resources to design and recommend solutions on Cloudera Data Platform based on the requirements

  • Analyze complex distributed production deployments, and make recommendations to optimize performance on Warehouse and the Data pipelines

  • Able to document and present complex architectures for the customers technical teams

  • Work closely with engineering team at all levels to help ensure the success of project consulting engagements with customer

  • Help design and implement data platform architectures and configurations

  • Drive projects with customers to successful completion

  • Write and produce technical documentation, knowledge base articles
