As a Network Engineer - Tier 2, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and resolving complex network

issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the highest level of service delivery to

our clients. You will work closely with Tier 1 engineers, escalate to Tier 3 when necessary, and actively

participate in network monitoring, configuration, and documentation

Job Title – Senior Network Engineer

Experience – 5 – 7 Years

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy SDWAN and SDN Network based on Cisco or other platforms.

• Prepare Low Level Design based on Customer Inventory and deploy the topology.

• Provide Tier 2 level technical support and troubleshooting for Cisco network infrastructure,

specializing in Routing and Switching and Viptela.

• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues related to Routing and Switching and Viptela.

• Collaborate with Tier 1 engineers and escalate to Tier 3 engineers when necessary.

• Assist in the implementation of network changes and configurations, adhering to best practices

and change management processes.

• Document all troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and configurations in the ticketing system and

knowledge base.

• Provide guidance and support to Tier 2 engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting their

professional development.

• Prepare solution document and Network and Security Products recommendations as part of

Design based on customer requirements

• Understand customer technical gap or pain area and built solutions based on using the latest

Network and security technologies.

• Stay updated on the latest Cisco network technologies, industry trends, and best practices

related to Routing and Switching and Viptela.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Expertise in Routing and Switching and Viptela, preferably within a Managed Service Provider

environment.

• Strong knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, and wireless technologies, including Cisco

Catalyst and Cisco Nexus platforms.

• Familiarity with networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and VLANs.

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Viptela SD-WAN, SDN. ISE, Umbrella, including deployment,

configuration, and troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in network virtualization technologies such as VXLAN and VLANs.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve

complex network issues.

• Cisco certification such as CCNP (Routing and Switching), CCNP (Enterprise), and Cisco

  • Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation (ENARSI) is required.
