• Accountable for managing inventory in the distribution network to support Store & Digital Channels achieving targeted service level, In stock Rate, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Turnover, and financial performance KPI’s
• Accountable for ordering from suppliers into the distribution network to support demand
• Co-ordinate and manage ordering and communication for vendors that span across multiple categories
• Partner with the vendor community to optimize lead times and order cycles
• Accountable for the replenishment and allocation of inventory from vendor to DC and DC/vendor to store for all channels
• Accountable for end-of-life inventory management
• Identifies opportunities in unproductive inventory strategies to increase turn to meet or exceed plan
• Ability to work on various AO Tactics (What-if) for category strategies
• Address supply chain and vendor lead-time opportunities and constraints
• Participate in the development of merchandise plans and strategies
• Manages, trains, and develops Assistant Planner(s)
