Roles and Responsibilities


a) Review of H&MB and PFDs for Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) unit.

b) Participation in PFD and P&IDs review and development.

c) Review of control logic and philosophies.

d) Report on project process engineering technical scope performance against the baseline plan and stated benefits of the project.

e) Seamless co-ordination with various project engineering and project control departments.

f) Suggest value improvement opportunities during the design and execution phase

g) Identify process engineering deliverables, based on the scope agreed by the project manager and use these as a basis to assist in the provision of project estimates and project execution plan.

h) Responsible for providing the process engineering support to the project Manager to ensure that the project delivers the required benefits and is fit to purpose.

i) Responsible for ensuring that all process engineering technical scope change is agreed with the project manager prior to implementation through the life of the project.

j) Ensure of all the projects are technically fit for purpose from process engineering perspective and meet the statutory requirements and to provide process engineering input to project governance reviews.

k) Responsible to work in multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the process engineering requirements of projects are effectively and technically delivered to meet timeline and budget.

l) Maintain highest HSE standards aiming towards zero incidents.

m) Pre-commissioning and Commissioning planning and execution



Desired Candidate Profile


Knowledge:


It is desired that the candidate possesses job knowledge to carry out the following:


a. Understanding of MEG process flow scheme

b. Understanding PFDs and P&IDs.

c. Understanding of various control logics and control philosophies

d. Knowledge of reviewing process Specifications and Datasheets.

e. Generate / Review RFQ Documents.

f. Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning


Skills & Behaviour:


a. Persuasive Communication, both oral and written.

b. Analytical and Systematic thinking ability;

c. Adaptability to various Situations,

d. Attention to Quality and Cost Consciousness;

e. Time management & Delivering as per agreed schedule

f. Efficient conflict management and should be a team player.


Experience:


8 to 12 years of work experience handling projects preferably in Oil and Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical plants and Operational experience in MEG unit.
