Job Title: Developer

Location: Pune


Introduction:


As a Big Data Developer you are responsible to take business and technical requirements from tech lead & designer, understand the requirements, and challenge the requirements or design if necessary. You are responsible to complete development for your component, unit testing, working with SIT, OAT and other teams for further round of testing and taking to live.


What will you be doing?


Technical expertise in the tools and technologies that team deals within the Big Data Area.

  • Able to understand requirements and be able to do detailed code level design and development.
  • Expert in Hadoop (Cloudera or any equivalent) ecosystem tools and technologies. This includes spark2.3 and above, Impala, Hive, Hbase, Kudu, HDFS.
  • Understanding of the various file formats, their usage and compatibility within Hadoop.
  • Expertise in Apache Kafka 2.10 or above is must.
  • Expertise in shell scripting, any 1 scheduling tool (like Tivoli).
  • AWS basic certification.
  • Hands-on experience in 2 or more on AWS services (AWZ EMR, Lambda, Redshift, KMS, S3, Athena).
  • Knowledge of NoSQL technologies like MongoDB, Cassandra is recommended.
  • SQL knowledge is required so as to support end user with their queries on front-end tools.

What we’re looking for:


At least 5-6 years of experience in 2 or more technical skills mentioned below.
