Job Description:

1. Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure

2. Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes

3. Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats

4. Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure

5. Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for

DevOps operation

6. Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed

in the project.

7. Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible

8. Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools

9. Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous

development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)

10. Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer

11. Develops and maintains mission-critical information extraction, analysis, and

management systems.

12. Provides direct and responsive support for urgent analytic needs.

13. Participates in architecture and software development activities.

14. Collaborates with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a

complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem.

15. Deploy updates and fixes

16. Provide Level 2 technical support

17. Perform root cause analysis for production errors

18. Investigate and resolve technical issues

19. Develop scripts to automate visualization

20. Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

21. Develops and maintains mission-critical information extraction, analysis, and

management systems.

Qualifications/Skills:

1. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer

service

2. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

3. Process-oriented with great documentation skills

4. Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available

service

5. Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies

6. BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study (IT experience

can substitute for a BS degree)

7. Experience: 5+ yrs

8.Exposure Domains: Broking, Banking, High Volume

9. Following are must

a. Significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system

environments

b. Agile Development

c. CI

d. CD

e. Orchestration especially Kubernetes or OpenShift

f. Source/ Version Control Popular source control tools include GitHub,

Subversion, AWS CodeCommit, and Microsoft Team Foundation Server.

g. Container Management Examples of popular container technology include

Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Containers, and DigitalOcean

h. Programming Languages

i. Java / Python

ii. JavaScript/ Groovy

iii. Scala

i. Cloud Architecture and Cloud Exposure (proficient) any one AWS or GCP

j. System Architecture: Understanding the flow of all company systems and the

impacts various changes have on users in different areas of an organization.

Must have a knowledge of distributed system design, software architecture

and design, and client-server design. Knowing the ins and outs of data

recovery, networking, and memory management is also helpful.

k. Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud

services

l. Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles

10. Migration from On-premise to Cloud is a one up.
