We are looking our VP of Sales & Marketing to be the highest ranking manager in the sales organization and be fully responsible for customer acquisition, annual revenues and profitability.

You will lead the commercial success of the BU by building relationships with CXOs and managers at Automotive & Energy OEMs and working closely with them on their transition to electric mobility.

You will develop the annual business plan and budget, then work on sales strategies, tactics and action plans to hit the annual targets.


  • Build and take full ownership of annual budget of Maxwell’s Business Performance by defining clear product and customer strategies including managing effort of Marketing & Sales
  • Build up of relationship with OEM top management, purchasing and engineering departments.
  • Analyze necessities and make proposals to win business from OEMs in India & International Markets
  • Take initiative to improve processes and increase Maxwell’s ability to build deep, meaningful partnerships with our OE customers.
  • Identification of local and regional market needs and support sales team to convert these opportunities as well as manage customer activities
  • Monitor & Manage Maxwell’s sales, margin and competitive performance

Requirements

  • Masters in EE Engineering.
  • 5Yrs of experience selling ECUs/Automotive Electronic Controllers to OEMs in India
  • Strong experience to lead and go from 0 to 1 on OEM Techno Commercial Negotiation & Strategic project management.
  • Managing 200Cr+ of "Electronics/ECU Product Sales" business (not services)
  • Managed a team of 5+ Sales/Marketing Executives selling to Global Markets.


Nice to have requirements:

  • Understanding of BMS & ECUs used in EVs
  • Willing to work from Mumbai
