Main Activities / Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed layouts in Solid Works and AutoCAD based on inputs from Designers/ Analysts/
Project engineers.
  • Prepare detail drawings of assemblies, machined parts and weldments
  • Check interfaces and tolerances to ensure compliance with customer requirements
  • Create and maintain a library of standard parts, product models and drawings
  • Maintain an accurate record of the work performed in company timesheet regularly
Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualification:Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

Minimum 2-5 years of practical modeling and drafting experience in Engineering /Design / R amp; D /

Product Development environment.

Manufacturing experience with an emphasis on design for manufacturability is desirable.

Computer Skills

Should be highly proficient with AutoCAD and Solid Works (Part, Assembly, Weldment, Drawings

modules)

Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

Should have knowledge of manufacturing process including machining, welding and GD amp
