The plant is valued at about US $10 billion and originally produced 18.4 million tons per annum (mtpa) of petroleum-based products and 2.4 mtpa of ethylene and propylene-based derivatives. Petro Rabigh II is an expansion project valued at US $9 billion that reached full production by 4th Quarter 2017 and provided a wide range of new high value-added products, some of which are exclusive to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?We are looking for Electrical Engineer to provide engineering solutions, policies and programs to electrical systems and equipment to ensure the safety, reliability and mainteinability of PRC electrical power systems. Provide specialized technical support in the Electrical Engineering Field, in accordance with safety and technical standards, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability. Also, conduct high profile equipment failure investigations, and electrical studies for defect elimination and improved operations of Petro Rabigh electrical systems.LHR Americas will go with you at every stage of the processRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering discipline.3 years of experience in refining and/or petrochemical industry HV&LV Electrical systems operation, maintenance, testing and reliability.Knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods and equipment specification and dimensioning.Working Knowledge of international electrical codes/standards (IEEE/IEC/NFPA/Saudi Aramco).Demonstrate experience and knowledge in electrical systems [HV/MV/LV Main Switchboards, Switchgears (SWGR) & MCC; UPS and DC systems, wiring diagrams, and electrical protections].Possesses good trouble shooting ability/ knowledge on electrical equipment/system failures.Keep track on technology development, maintain contact with equipment and services suppliers.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support the Power Operations section (POS) in assigned plant areas on technical concerns regarding electrical equipment/systems operation. Work with PMS and/or Field E&I for implementing correcive maintenance solutions and/or troubleshooting, and provide technical leadership during emergency cases or critical operating conditions.
  • Identify and stablish critical levels of various electrical systems and equipment considering their failure impact to process plant operation and safety. Work with Specialists in developing, implementing and follow up of obsolescense management, life extension programs for PEC electrical assets. Protection coordination and arc flash studies of assigned plants / systems.
  • Handle the full technical review of electrical projects (30%, 60%, 90% and IFC) and implementation of assigned projects.
  • Support the development and implementation of special programs and initiatives to improve PRC electrical power systems.
  • Perform/lead all the requirement for electrical failure investigations and root cause analysis, in coordination with PES specialist and othert related personnel, to define practical solutions for preventive/corrective counter measures.
  • Work with Specialist Engineer to review condition monitoring results, trending of condition and forecasting of future actions to minimize unplanned outages or failures.

  • 2. Interviews stage

  • Conditional Offer
