Job Title : Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Education :B.E(Electrical & Electronics) / Diploma(Electrical & Electronics)

Experience :04+ Years

Job Location :Thirumazhai, Chennai.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Installation of new machinery, plant and equipment as per layout / requirement.
• Planning and scheduling of maintenance activities for all machines and plant equipments.
• Maintenance of CNC Machines like Turning, Boring, Drilling,etc.
• Maintenance of fully automated machines, stamping, lamination and injection molding machines.
• Participating in Energy conservation and techniques.
• Upgradation of plant & machineries.
• Maintaining the pneumatic and hydraulic based machines. • Developing and implementing the system to reduce the m/c down time.
• Creating the interlock circuit for hydraulic press & poke yoke process.
• Attending the preventive, predictive & maintenance of both electrical and mechanical machinery.
• Conducting Why, Why analysis to find the root cause of unscheduled interruption, taking appropriate countermeasures and horizontal deployment.
• Generating maintenance measurable data such as Mean Time between Failure (MTBF), Mean time to Repair (MTTR) for easy analysis and Management Information System.
• Identifying areas of obstruction/breakdowns and take steps to rectify the equipments through application of trouble shooting tools.
• Preparing preventive maintenance schedules of various machineries and instruments to increase machine up time and equipment reliability.
• Implementing latest tools like Kaizen, 6S,3C to improve the maintenance work.
• Identifying areas of improvement and recommending process modifications and equipment calibrations to enhance operational efficiencies of the systems.
• Maintaining optimal Inventory by following Spares Planning activities such as Localization, Standardization, In house & Outdoor servicing.
• Instrumental in developing One Point Lessons & machine backup data for reduction of repair time.
• Liaison with maintenance development & maintenance engineers of Mother Plant for maintenance of machines.
• Monitoring and implementation of safety system based on internal audit and group requirement.
• Holding Supervisor Competency Certificate (Electrical C License).

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month
