What you’ll be doing...

In this role, you’ll support mission and business critical applications within Network System covering engineering and planning across wireless applications. You will collaborate with teams to deliver strategic programs in performing/establishing domain level & e2e testing.

  • Managing automation activities like scripting, test design, test result analysis, improvement recommendations, and reporting.
  • Ensuring application release cycle are on track and adjust plan to meet release timelines.
  • Supporting projects by focusing majorly on writing Java, Java script & node js programs in the context of quality testing/automation.
  • Providing automation engineering support and work towards delivering highly efficient and reliable applications to the customers.
  • Driving the team on E2E related flows and ensure to work closely with PO and user community for the demos.
  • Automating the test execution and identify the defects through automation.
  • Understanding the org KPIs (Progression automation, automation efficiency, regression automation, CI/CD etc) and diligently follow and accomplish the targets defined.
  • Working closely with Dev partners and users both onshore / offshore and close the action items.

In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You have strong performance engineering skills and we depend on your expertise in all the phase of performance engineering life cycle. You stay focused & enjoy the challenge that comes with this role and able to manage work effectively in a dynamic, complex and deadline-oriented environment. You will be working with multiple stakeholders so networking and managing effective working relationships should be your top most priority.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Experience in Selenium, Java/J2EE, Springboot, Microservices, SOAP UI, SQL, Node JS.
  • Experience in Performance with tools like JMeter, New-Relic.
  • Experience in Mobile app Performance test.
  • Experience in Agile and CI/CD pipeline, DevOps Tool chain (Jenkin, QTest, JIRA, GIT/STASH).
  • Experience in various automation tools & frameworks (Testng puppeteer, Page object Model, Key word and Data driven Framework) developing software test plans, managing defects lifecycle using standard tools.
  • Knowledge of SDLC practices and methodologies – Agile, Safe Agile.
  • Experience in Security tools and technologies like Fortify while actively resolving threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of Web Services / Micro services testing using SoapUI/Selenium/Swagger.
  • Knowledge of flow-based automation and should keep track of all defects resulting from testing, ensuring all high and urgent priority defects are resolved on time.
  • Knowledge of Database and should be able to write SQLs and Procedures for testing needs.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience in test-driven development (TDD) / Behavior-driven development (BDD) tools (Cucumber/JBehave, ROBOT, SIKULI).
  • Knowledge of performance engineering with exposure to tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, IT application performance analysis.
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in working in Agile/SAFe teams.
  • Experience in testing principles, applying different testing techniques to deliver a high quality product.
  • Ability to adopt an automation first approach and execute the automation test strategies.
  • Knowledge of reusable component development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Python and AWS knowledge.
