Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and passionate WordPress Designer to join our IT team! As a WordPress Designer at our company, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end designing, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.

We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Build, deploy, optimize, and maintain responsive websites for projects of all sizes
  • Ensure that all design elements, templates, and finished solutions work within a variety of browsers, devices, and screen settings while meeting high QC standards
  • Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
  • Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • WordPress, WordPress Developer, PHP
  • Must have graphic design experience with a strong understanding of aesthetics, element arrangements on screen, color, and font choices
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Experience with front-end technologies, including HTML5 and CSS3 JavaScript for rapid prototyping
  • Experience working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques, and technologies
  • BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or a Visual Arts subject

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • WordPress: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Design: 2 years (Preferred)

Work Remotely:

  • Temporarily due to COVID-19
