Roles and Responsibilities


  • Part of a team of 5-10 professionals undertaking finance transformation and optimization projects
  • Ability to take up work streams and effectively manage projects, influence stakeholder/ participants/contributors, manage expectation and deliver quality is essential
  • Defining finance vision and finance strategy transformation plan
  • Design Finance target operating model design and Business process reengineering
  • Develop Finance Structure and roles
  • Identify opportunity for digitization and finance process improvements
  • Experience working in Enterprise Performance Management projects with capability in Cost optimization, reporting, budgeting, bench marking, financial/business planning, maturity assessment
  • Experience in Shared services finance projects location assessment, cost benefit analysis, governance matrix, feasibility assessment
  • Agile Finance and Digital enablement on finance able to work under pressure to meet deadlines; must be able to analyse and prioritize assignments
  • Worked in the capacity of Manager/Senior Manager with deep consulting experience - demonstrated knowledge about finance value chain to identify gaps and suggest improvement areas in the processes and functions
  • Worked in transformation and optimization assignments in Industries like Government and Public, Automotive, Financial services, Consumer Goods, Energy, Metals/Mining, Retail and Life Sciences/Pharma will be valuable for the role.
  • Participation in tech solutions in Finance function including ERP/SAP along with exposure to analytics and modelling will be a necessary expectation of this role.
  • Experience in Shared services finance projects location assessment, cost benefit analysis, governance matrix, feasibility assessment

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Exposure or experience in Digital solutions in Finance functions is mandatory.
  • Process compliance/timely reporting of facts & figures
  • Financial consolidation and solution implementor
  • Finance Close Management, Planning & Budgeting
  • Experience in Shared services finance projects location assessment, cost benefit analysis, governance matrix, feasibility assessment, transformation
  • Act as SME on projects/workstreams
  • Build credible relationships with clients/stakeholders, responsible for aggressive Business development, leading/participate in pursuits, development of Go-to-market materials.
  • Be creative, go-getter and take on any challenge to drive impact and results for our clients/ engagement stakeholders.
  • Participate actively in supporting the EY Leadership in building an industry focused practice; specialization in a specific sector will be an added advantage
  • Have to extensively travel for client engagements and discussion particularly in Middle east
