Job description

The role requires to be stationed in the Tronica-City, Ghaziabad and handle the entire fabric sourcing for the Rapid business and bring in supply partners suiting the business requirements

Responsibilities

Entire fabric sourcing for Wovens, Womens, Denim and Non Denim fabrics
Responsible for working with fabric suppliers for various product categories
Dealing with process houses on a day to day basis
Source seasonal design requests with appropriate partners and vendors
Analyze fabric needs across the brand and make recommendations to Production and Design for leveraging qualities across divisions
Manage product integrity by reviewing testing reports. Trouble shoot to solve and recommend options based on target costs
Manage fabric raw material to achieve cost and leadtimes
Provide fabric approvals as per the standards and requirements of the brand
Ability to translate the design from CAD to bulk to shorten the leadtimes
Ensure calendar dates are met
Maintain a fabric resource library to support seasonal inspiration by design team
Maintaining strong relationship with major fabric suppliers across the country
