Job Designation : FEA Engineer

Job Responsibilities :

Check all available inputs in the drawings and documents for a particular project.

Identify missing inputs then either make prudent assumptions or ask client to provide those inputs.

Plan and execute projects for simulation of engineering phenomenon. Provide design recommendations and directions to clients in the early stages of product/process design.

Responsibility of pre – processing, solving and post – processing of numerical simulations. Verify that simulations follow basic laws of physics.

Research to understand simulation methodology for new kind of projects in the company.

Finite Element analysis (FEA) with the help of various FEA tools/software. Preparation of project report. Peer review of projects done by other colleagues. Co-ordinate with other colleagues for execution of mechanics related projects.

Organize and upload relevant project files in the company’s common server during and after completion of project. Learn, understand and apply company’s engineering processes and practices.

Apply basic and advanced mechanical sciences to perform design analysis of products and components, including static/dynamic analysis, strength of materials, material selections and design optimization.

Produce and utilize engineering calculations and operate computer programs to support design analysis and engineering efforts including spreadsheets and Internet Resources.

Apply manufacturing quality and considerations while generating solutions. Perform Linear, non – Linear, Static Transient, Modal and Contact FE analysisusing FEMAP, Nx – NASTRAN. Interpret FEA results, understand physics of structural analysis, provide solutions/recommendations and write reports.

Participate in collaboration with other verticals at Mechartés to envision and develop design packages/design processes jointly. On time delivery and quality of deliverables.
