As a Finished Goods Planner you’ll be responsible you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for ensuring product availability at right place and right time in line with the mid term plan shared by the countries/ markets by deploying appropriate FG Inventory Planning strategies for a business unit or a group of business units.

What you’ll do
  • Classify products into MTS, MTO, ETO etc in consultation with Product Management/Demand Planning teams of Markets by using demand attributes analysis.
  • Maintain proper master data in system and Phase-in Phase outs plans in consultation with Product Marketing.
  • Use scientific tools to estimate right safety stocks, cycle stocks to ensure desired customer service.
  • Ensure adoption of IBP and FG Planning standard work to generate GMRs and intake plans.
  • Use analytics to study the demand patterns of products and recommend changes in demand plans to the markets.
  • Simulate and project inventory for 6 month to one year horizon and activate pull-in / push outs calls to manage inventory in line with targets / capacity leveling.
  • Review and modify purchase requisitions and convert into POs at an appropriate frequency and share with sources.
  • Work closely with Division supply Planners to obtain the supply confirmation and share with the markets and the countries.
  • Monitor supply against confirmation and manage pull in / push outs of POs in line with market demand change and work with Division supply chain team to mitigate delays, deocmmitment and shipping related risk if any.
  • Participate in Market/Country S&OP as one of the key stakeholders and provide all the supply related inputs and work with country/market demand planners to ensure revenue delivery in the quarter in line with FC.
  • Monitor supply back-log and work with Division & Market Supply Chain to mitigate supply back-logs by taking joint calls on Air freight and other measures to expedite supplies.
  • Own DRM performance and conduct 4C analysis of DRM miss and implement counter measures.
  • Review slow moving and A-class % inventory periodically and work with markets/countries to prevent/liquidate slow moving inventory and maintain the A-class inventory in line with target.
  • Optimize inwards freight (Ocean and Air Freight) by selecting right mode of transportation and and reduce cost of expediting supplies.
  • Continuous improvement of processes and automation by using appropriate digitization tools.

Your Qualifications
  • Graduate Degree with a specialization in supply Chain Management
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of Experience in Demand and Supply Planning in a complex international set-up with multi-country sourcing
  • Data Driven and customer centric with high level of commercial acumen
  • Strong inter-personal skill and ability to influence large number of stakeholders
  • Hand-on experience of working in SAP, IBP and APO etc.
