Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper record for all the enquiries, offers submitted and orders received.
  • Coordinate with the Customer to understand the scope.
  • Interdepartmental coordination to gather information on materials, labor, and other factors for estimation.
  • Identifying and quantifying all cost factors involved in the scope.
  • Coordination with buyers to arrange budgetary offers for the components required.
  • Coordinate to keep him/herself updated with Forex movement and commodity prices.
  • Use the software developed to calculate cost estimates.
  • Prepare proposal and submit within the timelines.
  • Prepare and provide budget against every order.
  • Organize kick off meetings on receipt of orders for discussion on scope, budget, and delivery.
  • Create Sale Order in ERP.

What You Bring

  • In depth knowledge of casting, fabrication, and machining processes.
  • High level mathematical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Education Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / Production Engineering from a reputed University.

Experience

5 - 10 years of experience in heavy equipment manufacturing industry with 4+ years of experience in cost estimation role.
