Description


Responsible for executing quality control programs and supervising day-to-day activities of Quality technicians to ensure production lines are properly supported and issues are addressed on a timely manner. Maintains the integrity of the Quality Management System. Investigates quality problems and works with operations to implement solutions.


Key Responsibilities


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • In coming, In process and Final Testing & Inspection process knowledge.
  • Motor Industry/Submersible motor industry experience preferred.
  • Precision Engineering Components inspection and drawing understanding knowledge. (In Micron tolerances).
  • Having knowledge of Raw material testing chemical, mechanical test and Test certificate verification as per requirement.
  • ERP system knowledge for GRN inspection clearance
  • Having knowledge of measuring instruments. (Dial bore gauge preferred)
  • Able to prepare quality plan as per requirement.
  • Supplier end audit and evaluation knowhow.
  • Having knowledge of Calibration activity.
  • Problem solving techniques, 7 QC tools knowledge. RCA, CAPA, 8D technique knowhow.
  • Customer complaints analysis and Corrective action knowhow.
  • Having exp. Of handling Third party inspection, Government body inspection with documentation.
  • ISO 9001:2015 QMS knowledge of documentation, audit required. Asst. MR exp. Preferred.
  • PPAP, PFMEA , Cp and Cpk process capability, Control plan, Six sigma knowledge preferred.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


Skills and Abilities.
  • Writes routine reports and correspondence.
  • Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with vendors, internal and external customers, the general public and other employees of the organization.
  • Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram formats.
  • Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of four years of relevant experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related field (required).
  • Working knowledge of mechanical/electrical metrology e.g.: gages and handheld instruments.
