Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant-GCP Architect
A GCP (Google Cloud Platform) Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions using the Google Cloud Platform. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business requirements and develop scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures.
Responsibilities
  • Designing Cloud Architectures: Develop and implement scalable and highly available cloud architectures on the Google Cloud Platform, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Infrastructure Planning: Assess business requirements and translate them into cloud infrastructure designs, including network, storage, compute, and security components.
  • Cloud Solution Implementation: Lead the implementation of cloud solutions, including provisioning and configuring cloud resources, managing data migrations, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments by implementing best practices, monitoring systems for vulnerabilities, and maintaining a robust security posture.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize cloud solutions to improve performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness, leveraging GCP services and tools.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve problems promptly.
  • Documentation and Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures. Conduct training sessions for teams to enhance their understanding and usage of GCP services.
  • Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in cloud computing, particularly in the Google Cloud Platform domain, and evaluate their potential application to improve existing cloud architectures.
  • Be able to present the solutions to the customers.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
  • B.E/B Tech/Any graduation equivalent
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
  • Strong experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions on the Google Cloud Platform, including proficiency in GCP services like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking, and BigQuery.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture best practices, including security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting and automation tools, such as Python, PowerShell, or Terraform, for managing cloud resources.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications in Google Cloud Platform, such as Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, are preferred.
  • Strong client facing skills.
