Job Title AVP- EV R&D

Experience 20-25 Years in Automotive OEM.

Qualification B.Tech/ M.tech (Electrical , Electrical &Electronics, Mechatronics)

Reporting To COO

Industry Auto OEM (Prefered EV)

Location Faridabad- Ballabgarh

Technical Skills
  • Hands on exposure of HV components
  • Technical know- how on manufacturing process of EV
  • Ability for product design, development & management.
  • Understanding the agreement terms for JVs
  • Understanding the Homologation process
  • Technical know how about Engineering / Re- engineering, Testing and Validation
Behavioural Skills Team management

Communication & interpersonal skills.

S.No. Key Responsibilities Area Works Deliverable

1 Design & Development 1. Lead the R&D function for design to Cost, Functionality, Aesthetics & Timely development.
  • Conceptualization of the product and developing road map for product design and materialization as per specification provided.
  • Lead the Prototype building activities for timely launch of products
  • Designing electric powertrain and propulsion system for EV packaging.
5 Timely Product developments to meet market requirement.
  • Supporting and resolving technical issues w.r.t. design during the phases of product development.
  • Extending full support for manufacturing under contract manufacturing guidelines.
  • Managing and displaying synergy between design Deptt, Vehicle Integration and validation to offer quality product as per customer requirement.
  • Facilitating & extending support for Homologation, Testing& Validation of JVC products in the Territory.
  • Coordination for Vehicle/virtual analysis CAE, FEA etc.
2 Cost Optimization 1. Supporting Sourcing team for localization of unique parts.

3 Customer Orientation 1. Facilitation for New Launch, Technical shows etc.
  • Supporting after sales team for redressal of customer issues.
4 Resource Planning 1. Enabling PMG to plan & budget the resources required to set up the R&D process.
  • Resource allocation and monitoring for the successful execution of the vehicle development plan
5 Training & Development 1. Lead the team of Managers /Executives in R&D and train them to achieve the business goals.
  • Coherent involvement to update oneself &team on latest technology related to EV industry
