Job Details

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
  • Plans concept by studying information and materials.
  • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
  • Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; purchasing from vendors.
  • Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Should be well versed with art work design software like Corel, Adobe Photoshop. Illustrator and SAP would be additional advantage.
  • Should be able to handle secondary and tertiary packaging designs independently.
  • Responsible for conceptualization and design of secondary packaging and labeling for all products.
  • To design artwork or edit existing artwork of product labels, mono carton cartons, master cartons etc.(Primary and secondary packaging)
  • To prepare the technical directions, specifications, STPs, item codes & barcodes etc. for packaging materials.
  • To accomplish tests and provide physical & chemical properties of new packaging material under development to Material Management dept. or vendor for further improvement.
  • To ensure proper implementation of SOPs.
  • To ensure completion & preparation for all documents & Artwork for Manufacturing location within deadline.

Graphic Designer Skills and Qualifications: Graphic Design Skills, Layout Skills, Creative Services, Customer Focus, Creativity, Flexibility, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Desktop Publishing Tools, Acute Vision, Handles Rejection Experience in designing for Cosmetics, FMCG facility will be an advantage
