Urgently we have opening for the position of HEAD PRODUCT MANAGEMENT”Candidates should have 10+years of experience in similar role in an international environment, preferably in MNC PACKEGING INDUSTRY.


Position : PRODUCT HEAD

Location : AHMADABAD

Experience : 10+

CTC : RS.20,00,000/-


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the region’s strategic planning for product & customer mix and sales pipeline planning
  • Define market needs for product technology, product quality and service as well as initiation of solutions
  • Responsible for cost management and continuous product cost improvements of existing portfolio and standardisation
  • Review and recommend material optimisations (down gauging, implementation of new and alternative raw materials, semi-finished material concepts)
  • Introduce and implement new products at our customers
  • Responsible for ensuring specifications as per customer requirements and defining the right production parameters for the internal manufacturing of the packaging materials (selection of the right production process, production parameters, define quality proof plan for Certificate of Analysis - COA , issue certificates or document of compliance)
  • Project management of customer and product-specific projects, technical support of products in-house and application technology at the customer, incl. technical presentations and proposals at the customer
  • Drive customer relevant innovations, organise trials and transfer technology, including inspection plans & tests
  • Identify and implement process improvements projects relating to Product management across the assigned region, with the aim to improve product quality, cost and innovation
  • Responsible, together with quality management of the plant for customer claim management
  • Lead the resolution of key technical issues with customers
  • Assist in Product management and technical training for employees through Constantia Academy and for customers through Customer Universities
  • Where applicable, leads and develops the Regional Product team members (Eg. Application engineers, Technologists) through ongoing training, coaching, motivating and performance management
  • Co-ordinate with respective QA/Food & Pharma Law responsible to ensure relevant Product safety standards & regulations are adhered.
