We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Human Resources – Business Analyst

The Central HR team supports HR process operating out of various Tech & Non-tech locations (~60K FTE) as well as Digital Business Services (~90K FTE) which also includes 4 Offshore area which in turn cater to multiple countries in various segments such as Reporting & Management, Financials, Risk and Control Management, Vendor Management and IT systems. This requires close working contact with various stakeholders from Group, Regional and Country Lead.

The Opportunity:

HR Business Analyst will be responsible for managing key actions such Management of Financials, Reporting and Data Analysis. Also responsible for driving effective governance and monitoring across DBS & GSC Tech. Core tasks are :

  • Promote decision-making based on quality data and analysis
  • Identify trends to anticipate future developments in People Impact
  • Ensure Governance mechanism is in place
  • Manage Financial aspects such as AOP, Budgeting and Cost base

What you’ll do :

The Responsibilities across locations (pan Group) are:

  • Gather MI and data from various sources across HSBC to build decision making MIS
  • Establish MI/KPI’s to report said project management and efficiencies achieved
  • Manage Financial analysis and reporting for Group HR
  • Compute the monthly forecast and annual budget ; Analyse monthly financials and flag any areas of concern
  • Set and manage AOP for the year and ensure spend is on or below plan
  • Lead and execute process improvement initiatives within the team and improve efficiency.
  • Deliver against reporting requirements and demands across the HR Group
  • Ensure compliance risks and controls are robustly managed with no significant control failures

Qualifications

  • Qualifications in Human Resources or relevant field
  • Understanding of HR process OR experience in shared service center/ outsourced operations is required
  • Post qualification experience of 9+ years
  • Good understanding and knowledge of IT tools such as Excel (prefer Advanced)
  • Ability to identify emerging trends, interpret data, and draw insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to maintain effective working relationships with teams, peers, senior management and business stakeholders
  • Knowledge on the Risk & Control aspects is required, preferably in Human Resources function
  • Should have worked on AOP, data analysis & reporting within Human Resources
