Roles and Responsibilities

Greetings from Future Focus Infotech!!!

This is Ria from FFI-Mumbai; we have an opportunity for Aix Administrator with our Client

Experience: 1+ yrs

Skill: Working As Aix Administrator

Creating & removing LPARs.

Assigning resources to LPARs.

LPAR operations including: Create partition, Activate / Deactivate partitions.

Scheduling jobs via crontab.

Software, Package & patch installation.

Booting process, handling important logs.

User & Group administration.

Paging Space management. Creating /removing / modify of paging space.

Familiar with SMITTY, Mirroring, Paging Space management, creation of CRON jobs and User account management and password reset etc.

Taking regular system backup mksysb and vg backups using savevg.

Configuring LUN on server

Server Monitoring

Handling Ticketing Tool

Performing Alt_clone

Vg mirroring

File system management: Create, Remove & modify size of file system.

LVM Management. Creation of VG, LV. & adding new disks to volume group.

Checking error reports and health check of the servers.

Notice period: Immediate

Job location: Mumbai (Panvel)

CTC to be offered: up to 30000 per month
