Company Description
Payworld is a fintech company founded in 2006 with the goal of promoting financial inclusion by providing last-mile connectivity to even the country’s remotest parts. The company empowers retailers, mostly "Kirana Stores," with digital services to extend services to the semi-urban and rural population, where government schemes can be implemented without gaps. Payworld offers banking services like Aadhaar Enabled Payment Services (AEPS), as well as money transfer, bill payments, insurance, mobile and DTH recharges, rail, air and bus reservations, digital wallets, cash withdrawal points, and assisted e-commerce. With active retail touch-points across 28 states and 700 districts, Payworld is an initiative of the Sugal & Damani group of companies.

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site executive role located in Mahesana. The executive will oversee the operations of all business units within Payworld and establish policies that promote the company’s culture and vision. The executive will work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategies that meet the company’s goals and objectives. In addition, the executive will manage the company’s financial and human resources, and serve as the public face of Payworld, interacting with stakeholders and the media.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an executive preferably within the Fintech industry
  • Experience in developing strategies and implementing policies to achieve organizational goals
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage resources effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team and senior management
  • Experience in managing large-scale operations with a proven track record of success
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in the banking industry or with payment systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of Indian regulations and compliance requirements related to financial services is a plus
