Job Description

The Senior Web Developer will report to the Assistant Manager, Marketing & Web Automation. This position is responsible for assisting in creating & testing of custom templates and taking care of development, testing and maintenance of internal tools. The candidate will also be responsible for collaboration with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities/What You’ll Do
  • Ability to estimate, architect and build complex solutions
  • Production and maintenance of microsites and web application user interfaces
  • Write, reusable code and libraries
  • Enhance application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Validate input before submitting to back end
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholder
  • Bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation
  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of web servers and programming languages Like PHP/ Ruby / Perl / Bash
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to understand, analyze, DB design and write complex SQL queries and tuning the queries for optimization.
  • Ability to multitask, organize,and prioritize work
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Must have hands-on experience with frameworks like bootstrap,responsive structure and best practices.
  • Must know about W3C and Google developer tool compliant code.
  • Proficient understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 and Bootstrap
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • At least 2 -3 years of relevant experience
  • Good understanding of AJAX and JavaScript Dom manipulation Techniques
  • Strong experience in repository (e.g., GIT / SVN) management.
