Job Title: Sewerage & Drainage Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of Municipal Water Supply Systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements.
  • Utilize the latest software to create detailed designs and specifications for water supply infrastructure.
  • Design Municipal Water Treatment Plants, considering factors such as water quality, capacity, and sustainability.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for water supply projects, providing recommendations for implementation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental, social, and technical aspects into project designs.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project staff involved in water supply design activities.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify the suitability of proposed project locations and identify potential challenges.
  • Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to obtain approvals and permits for water supply projects.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely completion and within allocated resources.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Public Health Engineering, incorporating relevant advancements into project designs and methodologies.

    • Qualifications:

    • Master’s Degree in Civil /Environmental / Public Health Engineering or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Water Supply Systems.
    • At least 8 years of experience in designing Municipal Water Supply Systems using the latest software.
    • Expertise in designing Municipal Water Treatment Plants.
    • Experience in construction supervision or project management is preferred.
