ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY


The Avaya R&D team in Pune is looking for a senior software engineer/module lead to analyze product requirements specification, design the features according to the specification and deliver the quality code. The team is looking for a strong and customer focused engineer with extensive development, debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Candidate should also have passion for innovation and make use of Avaya innovation platform to file Patents

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Analyze requirements specifications, design, and produce clean, efficient code according to the specifications
  • Integrate software components/modules, microservices verify, and deploy applications and systems
  • Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and fix issues in existing software
  • Work with developers for designing features, code reviews and to deal with technical challenges
  • Gather and evaluate user feedback
  • Recommend and execute improvements
  • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting


SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

1. Individual contributors to contribute in Contact Center as SaaS product

2. Ability to assist in design and suggest improvements proactively

3. Good Frugal problem solving skills

4. Java/J2EE, Microservices, RESTful web services/APIs development

5. Hands on experience with Azure or any Cloud Experience and Certification

6. Reactive and Domain Driven Design Microservices creation skills using Java or Go

7. Working hands on experience with Kafka

8. Working hands on experience with Redis

9. Knowledge of container and clustering technologies like Docker, Kubernetes

10. Cloud Operations, serviceability and Troubleshooting Skills experience

11. Accountable, Independent, Passionate Attitude

12. Session Based Chat or Asynchronous Messaging domain experience

13. Overall Contact Center experience will be an added advantage

14. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

15. Ability to learn new languages and technologies

16. Good communication skills

17. Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
