Job Description

We are hiring Area Sales Officer for a FMCG distributor (C&F)

Job location - Pondicherry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets in the assigned area.
  • Manage and build strong relationships with distributors to ensure effective product distribution.
  • Conduct regular market visits to understand trends, competitor activities, and opportunities.
  • Achieve sales objectives by effectively managing product distribution and visibility in retail outlets.
  • Provide training and support to distributors and their teams for effective product promotion.
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Resolve issues and concerns raised by distributors promptly.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in FMCG sales, with a focus on distributor handling.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the Pondicherry market and its dynamics.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
