Company Description

School of Aeronautics (SOA) was established in 1992 and is one of the largest aviation colleges located in Neemrana, India. SOA provides world-class aviation education in various disciplines, including Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, and Cabin Crew.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor at SOA. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate/graduate courses, conducting research in their field of expertise, advising and mentoring students, and participating in departmental and college service activities.

Qualifications

  • A Doctoral Degree/M.tech in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong research background and experience publishing research articles in reputed journals
  • Teaching experience at the undergraduate/graduate level
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Flight Mechanics and Control, Aerodynamics, Aircraft Design, Propulsion, Aerospace Structures, Avionics, or Unmanned Aerial Systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage with students
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Professional experience in the aviation industry would be a plus
