Overview

The Luxury Sales role is pivotal to our organization as it involves representing our brand and delivering an exceptional and personalized shopping experience to our discerning clientele. This role is instrumental in driving sales and establishing long-term client relationships, contributing significantly to our brand’s reputation and success.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with customers in a professional and welcoming manner, providing personalized assistance and product recommendations
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall profitability of the store
  • Develop a deep understanding of luxury products, brands, and industry trends to effectively communicate their value and unique selling points to customers
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, providing exceptional after-sales service and personalized follow-up
  • Participate in regular product knowledge training sessions to stay updated on new arrivals and product features
  • Manage the sales process from start to finish, including processing transactions, arranging deliveries, and handling any post-sale inquiries or concerns
  • Contribute to creating a luxurious shopping environment that reflects the brand’s image and values
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute in-store events and promotions to drive traffic and sales
  • Utilize CRM systems to track customer preferences, purchases, and contact information for targeted outreach and follow-up
  • Stay informed about competitors and market trends to provide valuable insights for product assortment and sales strategies
  • Consistently uphold high standards of professionalism, product knowledge, and personal presentation
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to customer service, inventory management, and security
  • Assist in maintaining visual merchandising standards to showcase luxury products effectively
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by supporting fellow sales associates and sharing best practices
  • Handle customer feedback, suggestions, and complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating as necessary

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience in luxury retail sales or a similar customer-facing role with a strong sales track record
  • Deep passion for luxury products and a thorough understanding of the luxury market and consumer behavior
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service and personalized attention
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a sophisticated and refined interpersonal demeanor
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-end retail environment while maintaining a polished and professional appearance
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close sales effectively, with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Capability to adapt to changing customer needs and market trends, providing informed product recommendations and solutions
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer data and sales activities
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per the demands of the luxury retail industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in sales, marketing, or luxury goods is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment, fostering a positive and collaborative culture
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively to meet sales goals and customer needs
  • Understanding of visual merchandising principles and its impact on luxury product presentation and sales
  • Commitment to upholding brand values and delivering an exceptional, tailor-made experience to every customer
  • Knowledge of inventory management and stock control processes to ensure accurate and efficient product availability
