About the role :

As a Senior Manager/ Manager - Fixed Asset, the following will be your core responsibilities :

• Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recordation of fixed assets.
• Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets.
• Responsible for getting the assets verification and reconciling the same with books of accounts also getting the tagging of fixed assets
• Responsible for accounting of fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system as per updated accounting standards.
• Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts and tracking budget vs actual.
• Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger.
• Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets
• Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and the accumulated depreciation.
• Investigate the potential obsolescence of fixed assets.
• Conduct periodic impairment reviews for intangible assets.
• Recommend to management whether fixed assets should be disposed of.
• Conduct analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management.
• Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist the auditors in their inquiries.
• Track company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations.
• Review and validation of PO, Invoice of CAPEX purchase.
• Capex vendor management and payment review.
• Building and ensuring controls relating to procuring to payment of CAPEX.
• Play a subject matter role on designing controls related to the Fixed Assets process.

We are looking for someone who is a team player and can come on board to play this role. Following is the background we are looking for :

You should be a qualified CA / MBA / Post Graduate in Finance with relevant 7 to 8 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and finance

Skill sets needed :

• Knowledge of SAP- B1, S4, or any other ERP most preferred.
• Good communication skills
• Having experience in handling a team of 2-3 people.
• Detailed oriented and Good at problem-solving
• Understanding of ERP
• Comfortable to work in ambiguity and build processes from scratch
• Awareness of solutions such as barcoding to streamline the Fixed Assets process
• Influencing and working in cross-functional environment
• Communication with various departments.
